A Repair Cafe is being held at Histon Baptist Church on the 6th December, organised jointly between HI Sustainability and the Eco groups of Histon Baptist Church and  St. Andrew's Church Histon.

The volunteers offer a range of skills including repairs to a variety of electrical and mechanical  household and garden appliances, woodwork, clothes and other textiles, as well as tool sharpening and almost anything you can carry, in fact.

Anyone bringing a broken item stays with the repairer, thus understanding the problem and how it can be fixed.

Those wanting to use the service should book their items for repair in advance, bookings can now be made. 
There will also be some slots for walk-ins on the day but space will be limited.
