Bawds is an amateur production company based in Cambridge. They usually present three main house shows a year as well as one or two studio or drama festival productions.

The evening offers a popular programme that combines staged stories with captivating characters and seasonal songs, to put you in the festive spirit.

• Join the company of young carol singers on a dark and frosty night as they venture forth into the snow on a seasonal adventure.
• Experience the moods and musings of those shopping in markets and malls.
• Participate in the excitement of activities at home in preparation for Christmas Eve.
• Engage with the comic business of festive over-indulgence through the wit and exuberance of well-loved authors.
• Witness the Christmas Story through the eyes of those following an enigmatic star as they journey to Bethlehem.
• Meet the immortal Scrooge as he cantankerously rejects Christmas, and then wholeheartedly embraces it!
• All of this interspersed with harmonised singing and underscored with music.
