  1. SHOW ME.
Our trail starts at the Silver Birch trees at the front of the church. Stars made by many village children’s groups are suspended in the trees.

This is an invitation to go looking! The stars were set in space by our creator. "He determines the number of stars and calls them each by name" (Psalm 147:4). He used them to reveal the birthplace of His Son, to guide and to light the way. The many stars serve as a reminder that the Light of the World (Jesus) is here for you. Not just for one, or even a few, but for everyone who goes in search.

Jesus said: "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7)

  1. THROUGH ME.
Our second display is a life-sized nativity scene.

Are you open, and are you available? Of course, these are important principles to apply to your daily lives. Most especially within the context of your family, but also friendships, work, and other commitments. But, are you also seeking God? Are you available and open to allowing the Holy Spirit to work in and through you? Mary was!
Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Her faith enabled the Holy Spirit to work in and through her. She was young, vulnerable and frightened, yet became a brave and courageous woman of faith.

"Since we live by the spirit, let us keep in step with the spirit". (Galatians 5:25)

  1. FOR ME.
Our third display is at the front entrance of the church and depicts Easter.

Are you ready? Are you seeking God, available to the Spirit and ready to experience those lightbulb moments revealed to us by Jesus? Jesus, who was both fully God and fully human. Jesus, who was born, lived, died and rose again that we might have eternal life. He came for us. He lived His life on earth to fulfil the purpose of God the Father. To reveal the nature of God, to teach us how to live, to connect us to the Father. He came among us, taught us and performed miracles. Jesus died on the cross, taking all our sin, so that we can have a close and personal relationship with our God. He rose again, returned to our Father God, and now waits for us.

"For the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost". Luke 19:10

  1. WITH ME.
Follow the trail into the church where you will find our Pentecost display.

When Jesus promises the Holy Spirit, he said that the Father "will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever - the spirit of truth" (John 14:16-17). When we seek (being available and ready), we can then receive, we are not abandoned. Jesus never promised an easy life, in fact he said that "In this world you will have trouble" (John 16:33). This is the by-product of living in an imperfect world, and so we live through both the good and the bad. But, with Jesus, we face nothing alone. The Holy Spirit is the presence of God within us and all believers, helping us to live as God wants, as taught by Jesus.

  1. FOR ETERNITY.
Continue through the church to Eternity,

It is your choice! The bible is clear. God created you, He loves you, and wants to be in relationship with you now and for eternity. But you have free will, it is your choice. As created beings we are born to worship and have faith. What do you worship and where do you put your faith? Are they life giving? As believers, we have faith in, and worship, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We do this now, on earth, and look forward to the day we can sing God’s praises in heaven along with the angels, and all the heavenly creatures, where there is “no more pain, no more suffering, no more death”, only an eternity spent in the presence of Love.

Make your way through to the coffee area for a drink  and/or into the carpark to toast marshmallows.
