Following on from our well received repair cafe in April, we are having a further one on Saturday 10 October, at  HBC. We recommend booking repairs in advance, but request that you submit only one booking per person. 



Bring your broken household item and a skilled volunteer will help you fix it. We can take a wide variety of repairs to household and garden appliances, whether mechanical, electrical or electronic, along with tool sharpening and repairs to furniture, ceramics, textiles and clothing (unfortunately our jewellery repairer is not available this time!). We like to show you how we do it, so that if it happens again, you might be able to do it yourself.

This community initiative, run by HI Sustainability jointly with Histon Baptist and St Andrew’s Histon Eco Church Groups. It is a free event, with donations welcome on the day.
